She is an experienced healthcare professional with over ten years of experience.  She is the co-founder and administrator for the New York City Nurses Honor Guard, which honors deceased nurses by providing a dignified send-off. Throughout her career, she has held numerous positions within the homecare sector.

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Finance from CUNY Brooklyn College.

In addition to working in healthcare, she freelances in the small business sector, managing various projects and consulting on strategic planning, organizational structure, and business set-up. Her diverse skills and extensive experience benefit the organizations and clients she works with.

My nursing journey is not a conventional one, I grew up wanting to be a childhood educator due to my love for children. A few years after migrating to the United States, 9/11 happened and my grandmother became ill shortly after.   I remember becoming fascinated with her care and well-being. I was enrolled in college on the track to becoming an educator and I told my mother I wanted to switch career paths. It was like a light switched on inside of me and I quickly developed this over yielding urge to help people that were ill. I enrolled into a nursing assistant program and started my journey to becoming a nurse. I have been in healthcare for over 10 years and been a registered nurse for 7 years. Some of my passions aside from taking care of the ill includes spending time with family and friends, cooking, entertaining and reading.

I currently work as an occupational nurse at Northwell Health in Team Member Services. I have been a Registered Nurse for over twelve years. I obtained my BSN from SUNY Delhi, and my associate degree at Long Island College Hospital school of nursing back in 2011. I also graduated from Borough of Manhattan Community College in Liberal Arts in 2000. My clinical experiences include Psychiatry, Emergency Department, Home Care, and Occupational Health. My main passion has always been in nursing, and I am proud to be a nurse.  Looking back at twelve years ago when I was just starting, I know I made the right decision and could not have done it any other way.  My long-term career plan is to continue my education and work on a master's degree in Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner which I plan to start in September of 2024.  

Dr. Michelle Chester has been an active Church of the Transfiguration member for over 13 years. She serves as Warden of their Vestry, Lay Eucharistic Minister and presently serves on the Diocesan Council.  Dr. Chester holds a Doctorate from Rutgers University Biomedical and Health Science, a Master of Science Nurse Practitioner Certified Degree from SUNY Downstate University, a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Downstate University, an associate degree in Nursing from Medgar Evers College, a First Assist in Surgery Certification from Delaware county Community College.

    Dr. Chester has over 30 years of experience in healthcare. She is the founder of the New York City Nurses Honor Guard. She is the Senior Director of Operations for Employee Health Services at Northwell Health.  Dr. Chester was integral to the success of Northwell Health’s COVID-19 response.  She administered the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in the United States and the first Moderna vaccine in New York State.

 She was honored and received the Premier Business Women of Long Island award for 2023. Dr. Chester presented the first ever prestigious Daisy Award to a Caribbean nurse in Guyana in 2023. Dr. Chester is a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion program at Northwell Health. Lastly, she is a dedicated mother of 4 beautiful children, Winston, William, Khalil, and Solandra, and wife to a wonderful husband, Solomon Andre’ Chester Jr.

Michael Freeman is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in healthcare and technology. He spent 15 years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHt) until 2009, and later earned his Degree of Computer Science in which he served as a Managed Servive Provider(MSP) in 2017. In addition to his healthcare experience, Michael has also successfully owned and operated Supreme IT Solutions Corp, a technology solutions company, from its inception to the present day. With his unique blend of healthcare and technology expertise, Michael brings a comprehensive perspective to his work and is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to his clients.

Solomon Chester is a multifaceted individual with a passion for capturing life's moments and serving his community. With over 30 years of experience as a photographer, he has honed his skill in preserving memories and telling stories through his lens. Additionally, Solomon has dedicated himself to public service as a peace officer in the judicial system, working tirelessly to uphold justice and protect others. Above all, he cherishes his role as a loving father, prioritizing family and nurturing the next generation with kindness and wisdom.

 Dr. Elyse Isopo has been a critical care nurse for over 25 years and currently practices as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for the past 17 years.  She graduated from Adelphi University with a master’s degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner as well as Post master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Stony Brook University as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Dr. Elyse Isopo obtained her Doctorate in 2018 from Walden University.  Beyond clinical practice, she is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University School of Nursing since 2019 as well as holds certifications in Medical Bioethics and as a Critical Care Registered Nurse.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Isopo was an integral part of a team of clinicians who made challenging clinical ethical decisions which has led to her passion and mission of making a positive impact on the healthcare community, her patients, colleagues, and the entire community. Dr. Elyse Isopo is a dedicated mother of 3 beautiful children, Arianna, Alexander, and Ava {The A Team} and wife to her high school sweetheart, Joseph Isopo.
